Natisha Hiedeman is an American personality and a basketball player by profession. She is a security guard and volunteers for the Connecticut Sun of the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA). In the 2019 WNBA Draft, she was selected in the 18th pick overall, which is one of the highest ranks for any Marquette basketball player in school history.

Natisha Hiedeman was born on February 10, 1997. After her birth (in infancy), she had to wear a full-body harness due to hyperextension in her left leg. Her mother was pregnant with Natisha at the age of 19. As a child, Natisha also played baseball and she was the only girl on her team at the time. To complete her education, she attended Green Bay Southwest High School, where she was nicknamed “T-Spoon” after former WNBA star Teresa Weatherspoon. She managed to compete at various levels in her high school, holding the record for triple jump, high jump, long jump and 100m hurdles. Natisha shares her childhood with her only brother named Sandy Cohen III who is also an outfield player and determined to play for Maccabi Tel Aviv of the Israeli Premier League and the EuroLeague.

college career
Natisha received the highest marks on behalf of the Green Bay Metro area in high school and because of that, she was recruited to Marquette University. She started playing from the early stages for Marquette University and earned the name of the Big East All-Freshman Team during her freshman year. For the 2017-18 season, Natisha’s name was featured on the Meyers Drysdale Award Watch List. Natisha completed her career with Marquette while being the all-time leading scorer with just 27 points and was named the first Marquette University player to reach 300 three-pointers, along with sixth on Marquette University’s all-time assist table.
WNBA career
Natisha was drafted in the 18th overall pick of the 2019 WNBA Draft by the Minnesota Lynx. because her rights were being drafted for the Connecticut Sun in exchange for Lexie Brown, her was waived by the Sun. The following year, on June 19, 2019, she was signed to the Atlanta Dream as a EuroBasket replacement for Alex Bentley, but Hiedeman did not play for the team until Alex Bentley had other plans to return to the team. Upon Alex Bentley’s return to the team, Natisha was waived but soon faced an exit and was eventually re-signed by the Connecticut Sun. After being re-signed by The Sun, Hiedeman earned her first WNBA points. In 2020, Hiedeman was signed by Israeli Female Basketball Premier League champion Maccabi Ironi Ramat Gan for the 2020-2021 off-season. During the season, she let her team win the Israel State Cup with an overall score of 73-72 and a win at the hands of Nitasha’s team against Elitzur Ramla. This became the team’s 5th championship together. In 2019, Natisha earned an award especially presented to the women’s basketball players named Big East Conference Women’s Basketball Player of the Year.
