Naji graduated from high school at a local school in Antioch, and to complete his secondary education, he entered Antioch High School in 2013. He joined the high school football team and set various records in his sophomore year of high school. After graduating from university in 2016, he entered the University of Alabama to pursue college and football studies. He graduated from college in 2020 with a degree in consumer sciences with negligible welfare.

Naji started his soccer career in high school where he played for the high school soccer team. In his sophomore year of high school, he ran 2,263 yards, making 24 touchdowns, while in high school, he ran 2,775 yards, making 34 touchdowns. He set an impressive record during his high school years, prompting various top college football teams to apply to him for employment, including the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Ohio State Buccays. Later, his career took off when he joined the University of Alabama college football team as an early defender in the Crimson Tide. In his freshman year, he played 14 games and finished the season with 370 years and 61 carries. In his sophomore year, he played alongside Damien Harris and Josh Jacobs in 15 games.
He finished the season with 783 yards, 117 transfers and 4 touchdowns. Naji played hard against Arkansas State. In his junior grade, he became a major player in the early quarterback after Damian and Josh moved to the NFL. That 2019 season, he recorded 1,224 yards and 13 touchdowns. He was expected to compete in the 2020 NFL Draft, but he stayed on to finish his senior year in college. In 2020, he played as an early player again and the team beat the Georgia Bulls and Missouri Tigers.
