Myles Frost was born on July 21, 1999 in Maryland and Washington, DC, and has traveled back and forth between the two cities all his life. Raised by his mother, Charmayne Strayhorn, a systems engineer, and grandmother, a schoolteacher, he developed two enduring passions early in life: golf at age three and piano at age five. Myles completed his high school education at Belmont University in Nashville, where he studied music technology for two years. Later, majoring in audio engineering, he transferred from Belmont to Bowie State University.

Myles sang and played piano and drums at church as a child, and in high school he played in an R&B cover band at local malls. He appeared in school plays of Hairspray (as Seaweed), Legally Blonde (as Warner), and Cinderella while attending Thomas Sprigg Wootton High School in Rockville, Maryland (as Lord Pinkleton). He was a competitor of The Voice in 2017, while he was still in high school. When he was cast as Michael Jackson in the Broadway production of MJ the Musical, he dropped out. Frost was cast after Ephraim Sykes left the program at a critical juncture in its development, and the producers had to find a replacement quickly. The production crew auditioned a number of well-known actors, but none of them were available, so they expanded their search. Frost was called to audition after a YouTube video of him singing “Billie Jean” from a high school talent show sparked the producers’ interest. He eventually won the position. Myles is a multi-talented, self-taught pianist, actor, singer, composer, dancer, music producer, sound engineer and even an avid golfer (time permitting), but that’s just the beginning for this rising star.

ALL IN, where he researched his debut role as Shane, an autistic 14-year-old boy, and Netflix’s great show Family Reunion (Season 1 and 2), to which he added original music, are among his acting and music credits.
