She was the Huskies’ top rebounder in her sophomore season, taking 6.0 rebounds per game, and she also led the team in blocks with 57. Dolson posted 20 double-digit outings, including four games with 20 or more points. Dolson finished third on the team with 13.6 points per game and led the team with 7.1 rebounds per game while playing and starting in 38 of UConn’s 39 games. She played 26.8 minutes per game, finishing third on the team and leading the team with a strong 598 field goal percentage, second nationally. Dolson competed in and started all 40 of UConn’s games, averaging 12.5 points and 9.3 rebounds per game, shooting 56.4 percent from the field and finishing fourth on the team with 3.4 assists per game. She also shot 56.4 percent of the three-point range.
WNBA
The Washington Mystics selected Dolson as the sixth overall pick in the 2014 WNBA Draft. Bria Hartley, a teammate of UConn, was selected by the Seattle Storm after her and later traded to the Mystics. Dolson spent three seasons with the Mystics before being moved to the Chicago Sky in exchange for Elena Delle Donne, along with teammate Kahleah Copper and the second overall pick in the 2017 WNBA draft. She played with WBC Spartak Moscow Region in Russia during the 2014-15 WNBA off-season. Dolson played with Mersin Büyükşehir Belediyesi in Turkey during the 2015–16 WNBA off-season. Dolson was selected to the USA U18 Basketball squad. The 2010 FIBA Americas U18 Championship for Women was hosted at the US Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and eight teams from North, South, Central America and the Caribbean were invited to participate.
