Nick Saban or Nicholas Lou Saban Jr. is an American football coach, best known for being the coach of the University of Alabama football team. He is also known for having coached the NFL team Miami Dolphins and is one of the most respected and popular names in the football industry.

Nick Saban Early Life
Nick was born on October 31, 1951, in Fairmont, West Virginia, to Mary Saban and Nick Saban Sr. His father died when he was in his first year of graduation. Nick completed his schooling at Monongah High School in Monongah and went to Kent State University for his higher education. He received a bachelor’s degree in business from the university. He was also a part of the college football team. From his college, he got a chance to play and get into football. Nick Saban Career
Nick began his coaching career as an assistant coach at various schools in NCAA Division 1-A. From 1977 to 1987 Syracuse, West Virginia, Ohio, Navy etc. After these years, he became the assistant coach for the NFL team Houston Oilers. He worked with the Huston Oilers until 1989 and joined the University of Toledo as head coach. After that, Nick became the defensive coordinator for the Cleveland Browns team in 1990 and remained in that position for four years before joining Michigan State as head coach in 1995.
He helped the team improve and win several matches and tournaments over the years, and in 1999, he stepped down and began working as head coach at LSU. In 2004, he left the team again to join the Miami Dolphins as head coach, where he coached the team for two years and left in 2006. In the 2007 season, he eventually joined the University of Alabama as head coach and has been coaching the team ever since. Under his coaching, the team won several championships including 6 national titles, 9 SEC titles and 5 SEC Western Division titles, etc.
Award
He won the Paul Bier Bryant Award in 2003 and 2020 for his coaching, Walter Camp Coach of the Year title in 2008 and 2018, George Munger Award in 2016, Eddie Robinson Coach of the Year in 2003 and 2008 and five times as many awards. SEC Coach of the Year. Because of his coaching work, he became known as the best college football coach, and most recently in 2021, he signed a contract extension with Alabama to stay as their head coach.
