He placed 25th on the cash list, making $975 and receiving a 2017 PGA Tour card. Dahmen placed 176th in the FedEx Cup standings during the 2016-17 PGA Tour season, with a T9 as his best finish. He reinstated his PGA Tour card for the 2017-18 season by placing 24th in the Web.com Tour Finals. Dahmen lost to Max Homa by three shots in the 2019 Wells Fargo Championship. Homa took his first PGA Tour win. At the Corales Puntacana Resort and Club Championship in the Dominican Republic in March 2021, Dahmen took his first PGA Tour win.
